Fair Value Gap Finder
Identify and track unfilled bullish and bearish fair value gaps (FVGs) with automatic removal once they're rebalanced—perfect for finding high-probability retracement zones.
What It Does
The Fair Value Gap Finder detects price imbalances (gaps) created by rapid institutional moves. These gaps often act as magnets—price tends to return and "fill" them before continuing in the original direction.
Unlike basic gap indicators, this tool automatically removes FVGs once they've been rebalanced (price closes through them), keeping your chart clean and focused on active imbalances only.
Key Features
Bullish & Bearish FVG Detection
Automatically identifies both upward and downward imbalances created by aggressive price moves.
Auto-Removal When Filled
FVGs disappear once price closes through them, so you only see unfilled gaps—no clutter.
Size Filtering
Filter out small, insignificant gaps—only show FVGs that meet a minimum size threshold.
Works on All Timeframes
Use on 1-minute scalping charts or daily swing charts—FVGs work across all timeframes.
Main Settings

How to Use This Indicator
1. Identify the Imbalance
FVGs form when price moves so fast that it leaves a gap between the high of one candle and the low of another (or vice versa). The indicator marks these automatically.
2. Wait for Price to Return
FVGs often get "filled" later as price retraces. Watch for price to enter the gap zone—this is your potential entry area.
3. Look for Confluence
The strongest setups occur when an FVG overlaps with an order block, liquidity sweep, or premium/discount zone. Stack your edge.
4. Enter on Rejection
Don't blindly enter at the FVG—wait for a wick rejection or engulfing candle to confirm institutional interest.
Pro Tip: Layer with Order Block Radar
The most explosive moves happen when an FVG overlaps with a validated order block. Use the Order Block Radar to find these high-confluence zones.
