INDICATOR #01

Liquidity Sweep Detector

Automatically detects equal highs/lows and highlights when price raids those liquidity pools—perfect for identifying classic Smart Money Concepts stop hunts.

Download Pine Script (Free)

What It Does

The Liquidity Sweep Detector scans for equal highs and equal lows on your chart—price levels where retail traders typically place their stop losses. When price "sweeps" through these levels (taking out stops), the indicator marks it with a visual alert.

This is a cornerstone of ICT (Inner Circle Trader) methodology: smart money often raids liquidity before reversing. Use this indicator to spot potential reversal zones after stop hunts.

Key Features

Equal Highs/Lows Detection

Automatically identifies when multiple swing highs or lows align within a tolerance—no manual marking needed.

Sweep Alerts

Visual markers and optional TradingView alerts when price raids liquidity—catch stop hunts in real-time.

Clean Chart Mode

Toggle clutter off—only show active liquidity zones and recent sweeps without overloading your chart.

Customizable Tolerance

Adjust how precise "equal" highs/lows need to be—useful for different timeframes and asset volatility.

How to Use This Indicator

1. Identify Liquidity Zones

The indicator will mark equal highs (where buy stops sit) and equal lows (where sell stops sit). These are liquidity pools that smart money often targets.

2. Wait for the Sweep

When price pushes through an equal high/low and immediately reverses, that's a liquidity sweep. The indicator will highlight this event.

3. Look for Confluence

A sweep alone isn't an entry signal. Combine it with order blocks, FVGs, or premium/discount zones for high-probability setups.

4. Set Alerts

Enable alerts in the indicator settings so you get notified when liquidity is swept—perfect for scalpers and swing traders.

Pro Tip: Combine with Order Block Radar

Liquidity sweeps often occur before price taps into an order block. Use the Order Block Radarindicator (also free) to identify where smart money is likely to step in after the sweep.
